As part of our recent team get-together, we stepped away from screens, schedules, and day-to-day operations to share something a little different together, a sunset yoga session overlooking the breathtaking Colline du Château in Nice. 🧘‍♀️

We were guided by Fiona from Eunoia Lune Yoga, and from the very first moment, her presence set the tone for the entire experience. Warm, welcoming, and deeply grounded, Fiona has a way of making everyone feel instantly at ease, regardless of experience level or familiarity with yoga.

A moment of calm above the city

Practising yoga outdoors in such an iconic setting felt truly special. As the sun slowly dipped over the Mediterranean, the sky softened into warm tones, and the city below began to glow, creating a backdrop that felt almost surreal.

The Colline du Château is already one of Nice’s most beautiful viewpoints, but experiencing it during an evening yoga session added a completely new dimension. There was a shared sense of slowing down, breathing deeper, and simply being present in the moment.

Team bonding, but differently

This wasn’t just a yoga class, it was a chance for our team to connect in a more mindful and grounded way. Away from the usual pace of work, we found ourselves laughing, stretching, and moving through the session together with a sense of ease and openness.

Fiona guided us through a flow that was accessible yet energising, offering space for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. Her calm instruction and intuitive pacing meant everyone could participate fully, without pressure or expectation.

Why experiences like this matter

At its core, what stood out most was how restorative the experience felt. In an industry built around creating memorable stays and meaningful getaways, it was a reminder of the importance of actually pausing to experience the places we work with every day.

Yoga in such a setting, with sea views, fresh air, and golden light, isn’t just wellness. It’s perspective.

We’re incredibly grateful to Fiona for holding such a beautiful space for us. Her approach is inclusive, thoughtful, and deeply human, and it made the entire evening feel effortless and memorable.

If you’re in the South of France and looking for a way to slow down and reconnect, whether as an individual, group, or even part of a retreat, this is an experience we’d wholeheartedly recommend.
