Spread the festive cheer with Stay YNA’s pick of the best Christmas presents for your loved ones. If you’re anything like me, 2020 will have given you more reasons than ever to want to treat the people you love to something special this year. With Halloween celebrations over it’s finally ‘acceptable’ to be thinking about all things Christmas and we know it’s still a little early, but this year has been tough, and we need some positivity to keep us going. Of course, most countries are going into lockdowns now with the hope that things will get better just in time for the festive season, so we can all enjoy a good ole family. What better time to have a change of scenery and stay in one of our Luxury Holiday rentals in Dingle than Christmas?!?

It’s been such a difficult year for businesses with most being closed for more than a few months due to all the lockdowns and restrictions. That’s why it’s never been a better time to support the local community and instead of shopping with big chain brands, why not buy from small independents. After all, they need it more than ever to keep their high street shops going. So, we’ve rounded up some of our favourite local shops in Dingle to support this year.

Dick macks This is a great one to buy for all the dads out there. Dick Mac’s is a whiskey bar (voted best in Ireland two years in a row) and probably the most popular pub in Dingle. There online shop ranges from everything including gift cards, clothing, alcohol and glassware. Click here to view their website.

Coach house Dingle – Dingle’s most beautiful shop is home to an unparalleled collection of stylish interior’s accessories & furnishings, unique Irish Design & special gifts to mark all of life’s memorable occasions. Some of my favourites that I’ve got added to my Wishlist include candles, diffusers and body oils as well as their fabulous homeware range. See their website here.

Voucher from Fishbox – Everyone’s favourite restaurant… This isn’t just your average seafood restaurant with a piece of fish and some chips chucked on a plate … there’s a real unique twist on every dish, you can enjoy a range of locally sourced seafood with a mix of other cuisines. So, if one of your family members is looking to come to Dingle in the near future why not buy them a voucher here for the best seafood restaurant in town.

Fiadh – Ethical woven accessories inspired by and made on the Dingle Peninsula. This small independent brand has even made a name for herself with her scarves hitting the big high street store that is Brown Thomas. Did we mention you get free postage in Ireland on orders over €50, don’t forget to use code ‘Saorposteire’ at checkout. Click here for their website.

Dingle candle shop – The cutest gift shop in Dingle town. The Dingle Candle shop is a small local producer of handmade natural scented candles, perfumes & home fragrances. Their inspirations are drawn from the surrounding wild lands and sea on the Peninsula.
