Outside space

One of the most romantic balconies for two with the ambience of rooftops, glittering cathedral and french life buzzing below you.

Bedroom

The bedroom is situated at the quite rear of the apartment and although does not have exterior windows there is a glass brick wall letting in the light. There is a double bed (140×190) with two rattan side tables and bedside lamps. The room benefits form integrated air conditioning. A hidden wardrobe is housed in the living area.

Bathroom

The contemporary bathroom is a striking mix of chrome, frosted glass and hues of grey tiling. There is a large corner shower cubicle, vanity sink unit and toilet. The washing machine is also house in the bathroom.

Living area

The open plan living area combines modern furnishings with traditional features with integrated air conditioning. Wooden floors and old timber beams are given a modern edge with grey, chrome and rattan in contemporary styled furniture and fittings. There is a sofa for two, a single rattan chair and coffee table. If you need entertaining then there is a 19″ flat screen tv with French and English news channels, video, WIFI and Ipod docking station. The living area leads out to the balcony and the most magnificent views of the Old Town. There are double glazed French doors to keep out any noise from the street below.

Kitchen

The open plan modern cream kitchen area has a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, four ring hob , microwave and dishwasher. It is fully equipped with a kettle, cafetière and a large selection of cooking equipment.

There is a bistro bar table and two comfortable swivel chairs in the living area.

Location

Set in the heart of the Nice’s picturesque Old Town, with bustling streets packed with pasta vendors, bistros, boutique shops and wine bars. You’re just around the corner from the best wine cave in the Old Town and the Cours Saleya marketplace selling fresh local produce, flowers and antiques is a couple of minutes stroll away. The promenade and beach is only a touch further. Around the corner the breathtaking Place du Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the Palais de Justice and is surrounded by Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art.

Public transport

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
