The sleeping area is separated from the lounge by a door and passageway; keeping noise to a minimum. Neutral tones give the two air-conditioned bedrooms a sense of calm, and both have king-sized Provence style beds complete with ample wardrobe space. Both rooms are fitted with electric blackout blinds to aid a restful night’s sleep and have direct access to the balcony through new double-glazed sliding doors.
With a walk-in shower, large sink and ample storage, the bathroom is decorated in warm colours, fully tiled and equipped with an electric towel radiator and mirror with back lighting. There is a separate toilet for convenience.
Living and dining area
Natural light floods in through newly fitted sliding doors on all sides with views towards Mont Boron and the hills around Nice. The lounge has elegant marble flooring, complementing the stone flooring of the entrance and kitchen and comfortably seats 4 adults either at the dining table or on the lounge furniture. There is a 49” Wi-Fi enabled TV complete with Apple TV, built in USB ports, a Bose Bluetooth speaker and DVD.
A spacious 32m² open-plan living space provides a bright and convivial place to cook, eat and relax. The burst of orange tiles recalls the sun glistening off the vibrant terracotta rooftiles of the Old Town and should bring some Niçois inspiration to your cuisine! Running the whole length of one wall the fully fitted kitchen has LED lights and includes an oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is an array of small appliances including kettle, toaster and microwave and plenty of storage space. Off the kitchen there is a cupboard housing cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner.
The wraparound balcony is accessible from both bedrooms and the living area. The tables and chairs enable you to make the most of the balmy evenings for an apéro or the sunny mornings for an alfresco continental breakfast.
Situated off the busy bustle of Rue Barla, Dahlia has the vibrant and evolving Port area on one side and access to Place Garibaldi and the Old Town on the other. There is no shortage of boulangeries, delicatessens and wine shops as well as fashion boutiques and curiosities in the area, particularly on Rue Bonaparte.There is a wide variety of restaurants in the area where you can enjoy everything from traditional Nicoise food to Michelin star dining.
The TNL shopping centre with a huge Carrefour hypermarket and a wide variety of shops is a 10-minute stroll in one direction and it is comfortable walking distance to the beaches through the Old Town in the other.
Paid on-street parking is available but spaces can be hard to find. There are several carparks nearby, however. Try Parking Vinci in Place Arson; just 200m away.

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
Enjoy open plan living with free-flowing spaces and unfussy furnishings.
