An Overview

Gabrielle reminds us of the classic movie ‘A room with a View’ with Helen Bonham Carter and the enigmatic Julian Sands, but set in Nice. Terracotta rooftops, colourful cathedral domes and Niçoise life is laid out before you from the rooftop wrap around balcony that extends the full length of this studio apartment. The decor is as classic as the movie with unique modern twists. The location is central, with Nice on your doorstep just waiting to be explored. The cherry on the cake as there is a lift too.

Spaces
Outside space

Imagine waking up and walking out of French doors that lead out onto your own private balcony that wraps around the entire apartment. Choose which view you wish to take in from the two seating areas in the clouds!

Bedroom

Although no official bedroom, the open plan areas are nicely spaced out and defined. So, the bedroom area with a comfy kingsize bed feels like it has it’s own separate space.

Bathroom

Even the bathroom has views and french windows and of course the essential shower cubicle, toilet and sink.

Living area

The studio has a comfy king size bed in the middle of the room and is surrounded by original decor such as the marble fireplace and original tiled floors. Recently installed with a new AC unit for your comfort.

The decor is a mixture of classic and modern with oak, gilt mirrors teamed with two cosy velvet armchairs perfect to relax with a glass of wine whilst cooking. A Philip Starck transparent perspex chair to add a contemporary twist. Team this with a 26″ LCD TV (French and English speaking news channels), DVD/CD player, radio/ mp3 player and internet access and you have a stylish studio with modern conveniences.

Kitchen

There are even views while you cook from the modern light kitchen that has a four ring electric hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and cafetière. The French doors lead out onto the balcony.

Dining area

There is a dining table and chairs for two in the kitchen and also on the balcony. There are two comfy armchairs as well.

Location

Gabrielle is just in the area of Musiciens with its tall, prestigious buildings. Walk out of your door and the main shopping area of Avenue Jean Medecin is just around the corner with high street and designer boutiques. An array of restaurants, both modern and traditional, are on your doorstep. The more tourist centre of the Old Town, the beach and promenade are just a 15 minutes walk away. Nice train station is a couple of minutes by foot with regular train services to Monaco and Cannes and you are right next to the tram line which takes you to many of the main bus stops in minutes although these are still just a short walk away.

As per the reviews, we have in the past had occasional disturbances from the eccentric neighbour next door. The nightly price has been reduced to reflect this issues and unfortunately no further compensation can be given for this.
