The Old Town of Nice is a blur of colours, scents, boutiques and restaurants; a great place to explore. Rue de la Croix, although very central, is located just above the hustle and bustle so you can enjoy the atmosphere without being disturbed by it. Visit Palais Lascaris, a 17th century Baroque palace to travel back in time or just soak up the atmosphere of the modern day city where locals and tourists rub shoulders at every turn. For an oasis of green amid the city streets the Promenade du Paillon is 200m from your door, with areas for children, picnics, strolling, and quiet contemplation.
