Outside space

La Terrasse spoils you with 20m2 of splendidly designed roof terrace and a nearly 360 degree view. The far off hills, terracotta roof tiles and splendid azure skies will have you enchanted at all times of day. There is a large wooden dining table to seat six as well as a relaxing area with deckchairs for sun lounging with shade in the afternoon if desired. You’ll have to find a very good reason to leave!

Bedroom

The bedroom has a king-size bed and French windows that open out onto the private terrace. There is double glazing, bedside reading lamps, a TV and plenty of cupboard space behind those mirrors! There is air-conditioning in the living room only, but you can still feel the benefits of this by leaving the bedroom door open at night

(If you wish to use the extra sleeping space provided, then the sofa in the living room sleeps one. Please note, there is an additional cost for sofabed linen and towels which can be purchased when you book this property)

Bathroom

You have the choice of a rain shower or regular shower head in the bathroom which is well-lit with spotlights and has a basin with vanity unit offering plenty of storage.

Living area

The living space boasts newly-laid, wooden floorboards and it too opens out onto the terrace with its rooftop views. There is a comfortable sofa which can accommodate an extra guest if required and another reversible air-conditioning unit to soothe any extremes of temperature. A small dining table is included should the weather ever be inclement enough to not permit al fresco dining. There is a wireless bluetooth Bose speaker for guests to use.

The beautiful, open plan kitchen has spotlights and everything a holiday chef may need; an electric oven, 4 hobs, a toaster, cafetiere, kettle and a washing machine. Other laundry equipment is also available.

Location

The central shopping avenue of Jean Médecin is just a 3-minute walk away, as is the vibrant café life of Place Magenta and the surrounding streets which offer boutique style shopping opportunities. Locals and tourists alike love this area of Nice where stylish façades are interspersed with luscious palm trees and the beach is not more than ten minute’s on foot. There is the convenience of a supermarket just downstairs and a lift to make life just a little more comfortable.

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
