Outside space
The front terrace is possibly where you’ll spend most of your time. The sea glistens and the blue sky cries out to you, so enjoy your stay with alfresco dining or just sit back and watch the world go by. There is further balcony space available through the bedrooms if you are looking for a spot of solitude or a shadier corner.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds, and both open onto the back balcony with a view onto the beautiful Niçois façade of the Palais Doria. Built-in double wardrobes and drawers offer tidy storage and there is air-conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable with the luxury of electric shutters for a perfect night’s sleep.
Bathrooms
The ensuite bathroom is fitted with gorgeous Italian travertine tiles; a Hansgrohe bathroom suite including, shower unit, toilet and basin; and has storage space and a heated towel rail. The second bathroom is also exquisitely furnished and has both a shower unit and a bathtub for that extra bit of relaxation.
Living and dining area
To make the most of the glorious sea view the living space is open plan. The chic living area has sofas and an armchair for reclining in front of the large French windows which open out onto the sun drenched terrace. For extra entertainment there is a Sony HD TV with satellite channels including English, German and French with a blue-ray player and hi-fi surround sound.

La Vague Bleue is situated half way along the Promenade des Anglais, giving unbeatable access to the beach and the seafront which can be enjoyed morning, noon and night. A 20 to 25-minute stroll will take you into the centre and the Old Town, or why not use the city bicycle service or roller blades! For more leisurely exploration, there are also plenty of buses you can hop onto. Behind the building on avenue de la Californie, there are the local amenities and shops of the neighbourhood for your convenience, including grocery stores and bakeries for your breakfast croissants.

Public transport
The closest tram stop to this apartment is Lenval
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
