Spaces
Outside space

From the three balconies of this corner apartment you can sun worship throughout the day and they are perfect for breakfast or an aperitif. A folding table and two chairs, sun lounger and cushions allow you to sit back and raise your glass to the 16th century Fort du Mont Alban and give a bird’s-eye view of the neighbourhood life below.

Bedrooms

There are two double bedrooms. One opens onto a balcony with seating area overlooking scenic Mont Boron on the lively coastal road to Monaco. It has a king-size bed—convertible to twin—with plenty of storage and wardrobe space. The larger bedroom has a super-king-size bed and plenty of storage there is a foldaway bed (70 x 190) available that provides an extra sleeping space for a child (Please note if you wish to use this additional sleeping space there will be an additional charge). Both rooms have AC and central heating giving all-year-round comfort.

The front bedroom has recently had triple glazing installed for a more comfortable stay.

Bathroom

The elegantly tiled bathroom is completely renovated and compromises a large Italian shower, a basin, a well-lit mirror, a bench and a cupboard for your necessities. A stylish toilet is separate for extra convenience.

Living area

The living room has a stylish sofa and two armchairs perfect for unwinding and the windows with original shutters which open onto a small balcony are the centre piece of this superbly shaped room. A TV and music system are also available for home entertainment.

Kitchen

Nissa la Bella has a brand new, stylish kitchen with all mod cons and a table to seat four A real chef’s kitchen to make the most of all the fresh produce on your doorstep (fish monger’s, butcher’s, cheese shops, greengrocers), plus everything you need for the perfect cup of tea or coffee to go with your morning croissants (4 bakeries nearby as well as three supermarkets). There is a combi oven-micro wave, electric hobs, dishwasher and a separate utility room with combined washer/dryer and laundry equipment. The kitchen opens onto a balcony that is a real suntrap in the afternoon, so take advantage of the sun lounger while dinner simmers away.

Location

Traditional yet forward-thinking, gastronomic, creative, historic, friendly, inspiring; le petit Marais of Nice is fast living up to the reputation of its big sister in Paris. Rue Bonaparte, the centre of all things hip is just around the corner, offering restaurants, vintage shops, fresh produce and lively bars. It’s a 400m stroll to the quayside to see the small fishing boats, yachts and ferries setting sail to Corsica. The Port neighbourhood is great for antiques browsing with a flea market, galleries, a modern art museum and antique shops. For more sporty types the Club Nautique offers sailing lessons and rents equipment and there are great spots for snorkelling along the rocky coastline of Coco Beach. The park opposite is fantastic for kids or if you want a leafy place to relax. With all the sports, beaches, shops, museums and restaurants on your doorstep you will be spoilt for choice. Nissa la Bella allows you to unwind after a busy day and the port area offers some of the best sunsets!

Transport
Parking

Street parking is available up the hill of Corniche Andre de Joly. Car parks are also available nearby; try Parking Barla, rue Auguste Gal.

Public transport

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
