Writer’s Lodge is a welcoming four bedroom house in a fantastic location. With it’s unique layout and variety of classic, contemporary and vintage furniture this house is a great find. Open the front door and step out to enjoy everything Dingle has to offer. Being on one of the main streets in this artistic, lively town you can enjoy the numerous assets that Dingle has to offer. This is a gorgeous house full of character and fully accessible for wheelchair use with a disabled bathroom. Families can enjoy the secluded courtyard which can be a real sun trap during the Summer months.

Spaces
Bedrooms
There are four beautifully furnished bedrooms. On the ground floor off the kitchen/diner is a very large bedroom with dark walnut furniture that looks out on to the courtyard. It has a large double bed and an ensuite disabled bathroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The largest is a bright and airy family room with a walk in wardrobe with one double bed and a single bed. Then there is a small double room and a single that look out over John street. All the bedrooms have lovely linen and high quality furniture.
Bathrooms
There are two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is whitewashed with adorable quirky features. It has a bath, shower and toilet that leads into a washroom with a sink and built-in walnut units. The downstairs bathroom is large with a shower, sink and toilet, all equipped fully for disabled use.
Living area
The living area is split into two with small reading room off the main lounge. This room is full of books and has a chaise longue and open fire to create a gorgeous reading snug. The lounge which leads through to the kitchen/diner is unique and quaint filled with classic furniture, exquisite artwork and more books!
Kitchen
A lovely vintage style kitchen with a gorgeous dresser and large dining table. The room is well lit with a sky light and leads out onto the courtyard. The kitchen is well equipped with all your culinary needs. It has a homely and comfortable feel which is an rare quality to find in a rental properties. The dining table seats six with plenty extra chairs around the house to accommodate more.
Location
The colourful fishing town of Dingle boasts many attractions and there is always something fun to do with cultural events throughout the year including food, music, film and arts festivals. The town is surrounded by natural beauty with beaches, mountains and rivers to explore.
With over 50 pubs in the town, there is always a bit of craic to be had and live music every night. Dingle was named Ireland’s Best Foodie Town in 2014 so food lovers will be in heaven! There are so many good restaurants especially serving freshly caught seafood it is hard to just name a few, but you’ll find some of our favourites on the Stay YNA App. The Dingle Food Festival takes place every year over the first weekend in October and attracts thousands of visitors for its taste trail, demonstrations, wine tasting, workshops and entertainment. There is also farmers market on Fridays with all the award winning local produce Dingle has to offer on sale.
