The master bedroom has a Kingsize (160cmx200cm) wrought iron four poster bed with such a high quality mattress we would challenge you not to have a good nights sleep. The room features rustic lime washed French furniture and it is positioned at the rear of the apartment. The twin room has two new single beds(90cmx200cm), a large wardrobe and chest of drawers.


The bathroom is very modern and tiled in slate grey. Relax in the full size bath or enjoy the power overhead shower. There is a large vanity unit, towel radiator and toilet.

Living Area

The open plan living area boasts the now quite rare and traditional Niçoise red tommasse floor throughout, which keep the apartment cool in the summer. The lounge area is filled with light and even though spacious has a wonderful relaxed warm feeling about it due to the ample three seater sofa and two French style armchairs. Enjoy the 32” LCD TV (French & English channels), free wifi and the selection of DVDs and library of books. The modern open plan kitchen has been renovated and features contemporary light grey tiling and work surface and glass and wood grain units. There is an electric four ring hob, combination oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and crockery and there is also a toaster, kettle, and cafetière at your disposal.

You are in the heart of the Old Town on the quiet charming side street of Rue de la Croix. Seconds away lie an abundance of bustling streets with restaurants, boutique shops, cafés and bars. Around the corner is the fish market and the most popular butchers shop in central Nice, not to mention numerous patisseries and boulangeries. The promenade, beach and fresh food market on the Cours Saleya are a 5 minute walk away.

Public Transport

The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port. Bus stop ‘Cathédrale – Vieille Ville’ is your nearest bus stop. Gare SNCF Nice Ville train station is a good 20 minute walk. But you can use the tram.  Tram stop ‘Cathédrale’ is your closest stop. It is less than a 5 minute journey to the train station.  Visit for more information. Taxi rank Hotel Meridien is closest and is opposite McDonald’s at the Hotel Meridien.  Taxis can also pick up/drop off at your request at Place St François or corner of Place Centrale, very close to your rental apartment.

By Car: Closest parking: Parking des Arts (up on the Coulee Vert, Rue Jean Jaures / across from the Monoprix on Place Garibaldi).

"Our holiday in the south of France was one of our best ever, due in large part to our lucky choice of accommodation at the Anais flat in Nice. What a fantastic place! The location was absolutely ideal. It is in Vielle Ville (old town) but on an ideal block, just steps away from the vibrant street life, but set back enough so that the apartment is quiet. Everything is in very close walking distance: Place Massena, the beach, Cours Saleya, Gare Routiere, a local garage if you have a car."

Excellent quiet location. Close to the bus station and tram. Lots of patisseries, grocers, butchers, nick-knack stores to choose from in the area. Comfortable beds. Authentic French experience. We had a wonderful week. The girls loved the big bath and watching the DVD’s.

A very nice and clean apartment right in the heart of the Old Town. A few minutes walk from the bus station and 5 minutes away from the main market. You can arrange to meet at the apartment or bus station and you get a welcome pack including some fresh coffee and a bottle of wine which is a nice touch. It is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so you need to be reasonably fit to tackle the stairs especially if you have a lot of luggage.

I stayed in this apartment with my mom and my sister, and we loved it. My sister and I shared the room with the twin beds, and it was very comfortable. There is no a/C, but there was a fan for every room and we found we didn’t miss the a/C at all! Mom stayed in the master bedroom and was very happy with the room as well. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we were left wine, crackers, milk, coffee, etc. to get us started, which was very appreciated because we had been on a train all day and didn’t want to run out for groceries right away. We used the washing machine several times and it was very convenient! The woman who met us at the tram stop and showed us to the apartment was lovely and very helpful. The apartment was very clean and the furnishings were modern and comfortable. The location of the apartment itself is amazing – right in the heart of Old Town, and where all the action is! Great restaurants, great shopping, the beach and Cours Saleya are steps away… as is Fenocchio, the best ice cream in all of Europe. 🙂 We enjoyed our stay here tremendously, and would recommend it to all of our friends. This apartment is in a fantastic location in the old city, with supermarket just around the corner and plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The main bedroom has air conditioning. Our host was great with checking in and very helpful with some other logistics

Great location close to beach, shops and restaurants. We are family of 4 with 2 older children, perfect location for us, everything on the doorstep. Hired bikes on the same street able to explore the area, cycling along the sea front was great. The flat is well equipped for all your needs, Highly recommended.

Very good location, the room was very large and clean, facilities are readily available, check-out are very flexible, dedicated manager to help manage, so everything is professional, English is also very good .Optionally good choice, the only is no elevator, but everything else is perfect!

A fantastic and charming apartment smack dab on a quiet street in the Vielle Ville (Old Town) of Nice. my wife and I and our two small kids (ages 3 and 5) thoroughly enjoyed the charming and cozy living room, modern kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms, and never felt like it was too crowded. The beds were comfortable – with abundant pillows and blankets, and the shower/tub was perfect. We were met at the nearest tram stop (Cathedrale – Vielle Ville) and taken to the apartment, where we found a bag of welcome goodies and some excellent recommendations for restaurants and sights in the area. Great light through the windows during the day, and not too loud in the evenings. We would absolutely stay at this apartment if we return to Nice – which we certainly hope to do soon!

“Spent a week here. Easy communication with the host. The location was the best part about this place. Easy access to great restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Close to the beach and shopping centres. Make note of the fact that this apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator.”
