The sleeping area is separated from the lounge by a door and passageway; keeping noise to a minimum. Neutral tones give the two air-conditioned bedrooms a sense of calm, and both have king-sized Provence style beds complete with ample wardrobe space. Both rooms are fitted with electric blackout blinds to aid a restful night’s sleep and have direct access to the balcony through new double-glazed sliding doors.

With a walk-in shower, large sink and ample storage, the bathroom is decorated in warm colours, fully tiled and equipped with an electric towel radiator and mirror with back lighting. There is a separate toilet for convenience.

Lounge and Dining Area

Natural light floods in through newly fitted sliding doors on all sides with views towards Mont Boron and the hills around Nice. The lounge has elegant marble flooring, complementing the stone flooring of the entrance and kitchen and comfortably seats 4 adults either at the dining table or on the lounge furniture. There is a 49” Wi-Fi enabled TV complete with Apple TV, built in USB ports, a Bose Bluetooth speaker and DVD.

Kitchen and Living Space

A spacious 32m² open-plan living space provides a bright and convivial place to cook, eat and relax. The burst of orange tiles recalls the sun glistening off the vibrant terracotta rooftiles of the Old Town and should bring some Niçois inspiration to your cuisine! Running the whole length of one wall the fully fitted kitchen has LED lights and includes an oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer. There is an array of small appliances including kettle, toaster and microwave and plenty of storage space. Off the kitchen there is a cupboard housing cleaning equipment and a vacuum cleaner.

Outside Space

The wraparound balcony is accessible from both bedrooms and the living area. The tables and chairs enable you to make the most of the balmy evenings for an apéro or the sunny mornings for an alfresco continental breakfast.

Paid on-street parking is available but spaces can be hard to find. There are several carparks nearby, however.  Try Parking Vinci in Place Arson; just 200m away.

Situated off the busy bustle of Rue Barla, Dahlia has the vibrant and evolving Port area on one side and access to Place Garibaldi and the Old Town on the other. There is no shortage of boulangeries, delicatessens and wine shops as well as fashion boutiques and curiosities in the area, particularly on Rue Bonaparte. There is a wide variety of restaurants in the area where you can enjoy everything from traditional Nicoise food to Michelin star dining.

The TNL shopping centre with a huge Carrefour hypermarket and a wide variety of shops is a 10-minute stroll in one direction and it is comfortable walking distance to the beaches through the Old Town in the other.

Public Transport

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.

By Car: Closest parking: Parking Vinci in Place Arson, Parking promenade des Arts or parking Lympia on the port of Nice.

"The accommodation reflects the photographs. Completely renovated, very spacious, bright, with simple and new furnishings, clean and equipped with every comfort. Great location for those who want to experience the center of Nice. A few steps from Place Garibaldi and the tram stop and very close to the underground parking of "Indigo Barla". Absolutely recommended! "

My recent visit to Nice was my first time there, and I was lucky to find such a great place to stay. It really made my holiday very special.
Location was good, and easy get to from the airport. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable and spacious. I would really recommend it, and hope to return soon.

Dahlia is a fantastic stay

Arrival to the apartment was easy from the airport on the 98 bus.

The apartment, Dahlia, is so central.

As apartments go, Dahlia is ideal for the following:

Value for money
Very roomy for four people sharing.

As the sun goes down on the landscape of the hills, the wrap around balcony is the ideal place to have a glass of your favourite, before the night begins or when it has ended.

Apartment is bright and very clean

It has been newly renovated and decorated. The apartment is bright and very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen for self catering. I would definitely recommend it for friends and it is perfect for a family. The location is very central and only a short walk to most places of interest in the town.

Amazing Experience

My wife and I along with our two sons aged 15 and 7 passed a wonderful holiday at the Dahlia apartment. The location is great, a convivial neighbourhood with restaurants and bars to cater to all tastes, and a short walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach.

The apartment itself is meticulously and thoughfully appointed to make it a comfortable home from home. In other holiday apartments where we have stayed we had the feeling that the provision of furniture and appliances is simply a tick box operation with no care or thought being put in. this is certainly not the case at Dahlia. From the high quality (and quiet) appliances, to the water pressure, to the softness of the pillows, to the comfort of the beds, to the the quality of utensils and towels,  everything was impeccable.

The  layout of the apartment allowed us to gather as a family for mealtimes and movies, and when needed we could each seek a quiet refuge to read alone, and given the age difference between our kids, this is a feature I can’t overstate the value of! The wrap around balcony offers an endless passing show as the neighbourhood below goes about its daily life. In short Dahlia is a really delightful apartment offering the perfect base for a holiday in Nice.  I’d rather live there than in my own home!

Beautiful apartment!

The apartment was absolutely beautiful – very clean, spacious and light.  It had all the amenities you could ask for and the balcony that wrapped around the whole apartment is a treat, especially in the summer months.
It is in convenient location, making it easy to walk to most places.  The wonderful bakery on its doorstep provided the best breakfast croissants.  I will definitely be visiting again!

Everything we needed

“Our friends flight from London was cancelled. Claire was very accommodating when our arrival plans were changed. Apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed. Excellent AC. Shutters worked really well. Loved the position being easy walking distance to so many places.”

Absolutely loved staying at this apartment

“We absolutely loved staying at this apartment. The local manager was extremely helpful, and the host responded very quickly. They thought of all the little extra details, like leaving us maps, extra coffee, and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The apartment was spacious, super clean, and large compared to many European hotels! If you are looking for a centrally located spot near great restaurants and the port/beach, this is it!”

Very clean and excellent communication

A lovely bright and comfortable apartmen
Posted on: 23/10/2019

I recently had an excellent break in Nice staying in Dahlia. A great base to see Nice from with plenty of amenities on the doorstep, close to the tram network, or a pleasant walk to the old town and the city centre. The apartment feels spacious with a large bright open plan living room and balcony to relax in after/before exploring Nice. Clearly recently renovated into a comfortable apartment with everything you’d hope for to make staying a joy. I was especially taken with the comfort of the bed, always a good point to help a place feel like a home from home. I would definitely base myself here again.
