Dingle Sands is a super-cool house with modern rustic interiors that are characterised by the clever juxtaposition of old and new, this home stores stories. There is an upstairs lounge with windows that create a bright space making the most of the incredible views across the harbour to Dingle. Bring your binoculars to follow Fungie, our resident dolphin playing with the tour boats. With 5 bedrooms, three bathrooms, two lounges, a south facing sunroom and cosy underfloor heating, its the perfect place to unwind and enjoy everything the Peninsula has to offer. The home is just a five minute walk to the beach and there’s a beautiful coastal walk into Dingle town. Extremely family and pet friendly.

Dingle Sands has five bedrooms. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with a large kingsize four poster bed and an ensuite with unique wooden bath, jet shower and sink. Also upstairs there is a double room with a desk and a baby room with a small bed/cot. Downstairs there are two children’s twin rooms that both have bunk beds and a cute little passage way between the two that kids love. The house sleeps 4 adults and 5 children but the baby room could have a camp bed added to accommodate another adult/child as there is only a small bed/cot in there. The bunk beds are ideal for children but are a too small to be comfortable for adults. It’s the perfect escape for one or two families.

There are three bathrooms in the home. The luxury downstairs bathroom has a gorgeous freestanding bath, double sinks and a steam shower with jets. The ensuite off the master bedroom also has a steam shower with jets, toilet, sink and a unique wooden bathtub. Upstairs off the lounge is a toilet with sink.

Living Area

There are two lounges in Dingle Sands. The downstairs lounge is the full length of the house with windows either end so bright and breezy. It has a contemporary corner couch around a vintage table, flat screen TV, wood burning stove and a piano. The upstairs lounge is dominated by its views of the harbour and the hills that surround Dingle town. It has a designer couch with vintage pieces and plenty of books to relax with.

We love this unique kitchen/diner with it’s individual units, a large modern centre counter, a distressed vintage dresser, free standing range with gas hob and electric oven, large metallic fridge, double belfast ceramic sink and wonderful curiosity cabinets. The dining area has contemporary sliding doors out onto the decking. There are large flagstone tiles throughout the house warmed by the underfloor heating.

Utility Room

There is a large utility room off the kitchen with a washing machine, tumble dryer, storage and the air source heat pump that feeds the underfloor heating to create constant cozy warmth in the house.

A sizeable south facing sunroom, with reclining chairs, a large wooden dining suite, a potting table and lots of lovely plants. This room is a pleasure to be in flooded with light and warm even in the winter months.

Very beautiful house. Close to a beautiful beach. A seaside path allows you to walk to Dingle, we made this way every day for its beauty. We hope to be able to come back soon. Perfect home on arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your house this past week. The house was everything we hoped for an

Clodagh’s house is exactly as in the photographs. It is beautiful, spacious, tastefully decorated and it has absolutely everything you need. Dingle is within walking distance and the sandy beach just down the road is stunning. The local manager is on hand to answer any questions and we found the whole experience pretty hassle-free. We would book it again in a heartbeat!

The weekend itself was also a winner and we’ll definitely be back.

Wanted to say thanks a million for the cottage at the weekend. The place was amazing, my family were blown away with how comfortable it was, and the location was excellent. Got in for a few quick dips down by the beach and walked along the cliffs.

The house is lovely, decently maintained and in a super location

We stayed at Dingle Sands during Christmas and New Years 2017. The house is in a very breathtaking area of West Kerry – the Dingle peninsula. The town of Dingle is less than a five minute drive from the house, and Beenbawn beach about a five minute walk. You can experience the amazing landscape from the second floor lounge in house. The house, itself, is well appointed and perfect for two families. There are a lot of children’s books, videos and toys. And, the trampoline in the backyard was loads of fun for the kids. Our host, Clodagh, was responsive and made check-in and check-out super simple. We would recommend Dingle Sands to other families.

Great home with lots of usable space

Great home with lots of usable space. The house is set up for families. There are two bedrooms with adult beds, two bedrooms with bunk beds (our grown children did not mind them at all) and a bedroom with a crib. The house is very friendly if you are traveling with young children. The decor is light and bright and the view are lovely. The location can not be beat. The house is situation on the road leading to bin bann beach. Just lovely. You can walk the 3KM to Dingle along the cliff walk at the end of the road which has spectacular view of Dingle bay and harbor. Loved the home
