Jade is great value if you want to stay in a stylish, well designed apartment in one of the coolest sea front areas of town. You’re a short walk from the more tourist areas of Nice but in the heart of the Port area with great bars and restaurants and its famous antiques quarter.

Living Space

The living area has polished dark wood floors, sofa bed and 2 easy chairs. There is a 16” LCD TV (with English news and French channels), DVD player, Internet, CD Player and selection of DVDs and CDs for you to enjoy. (Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the disruption of internet access caused by internet providers.)


The small but stylish kitchen is well equipped and has a four ring electric hob, combination oven/grill, large free standing fridge-freezer, washing machine, kettle, cafetière and a good selection of cooking equipment.

Dining Area

There is a round glass dining table and four funky chairs.


The double bedroom (190×140) is at the rear of the apartment block and has ample storage space.

(If you wish to use the extra sleeping space provided, then the sofabed in the living room sleeps two. Please note, there is an additional cost for sofabed linen and towels which can be purchased when you book this property.)


The stylish bathroom has a shower cubicle, a lovely vanity unit and toilet.


The Port is the place to go if you’re in the know. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, a good selection of restaurants and everyone comes here to relax over a drink at the end of the day to watch the sunset. The Old Town is very close within a 10 minute walk so you can enjoy the more tourist centre of Nice. There are lots of excellent local shops and a supermarket close-by and within the complex. The main number 100 bus route goes through the Port on its way to Monaco and the border of Italy and there is a train station 15 minutes walk from here.

Public Transport

The 98 airport bus runs from the Airport through the centre of Nice and terminates in the Port, by the Riquier train station. Bus stop ‘Le Port’ is your nearest meeting bus stop. Visit www.lignesdazur.com for more information. Riquier train station is a 15 minute walk away and you can take trains in the direction of Monaco, Italy or Cannes and Grasse. Taxis can pick up/drop off at your apartment.

 We spent a fantastic week staying in this apartment – the YNA team were warm and welcoming and the apartment catered to our every need. It’s cute and modern inside and so close to everything it was brilliant! We found it to be really quiet and thought the bed was extremely comfortable. The Marlin restaurant at the port was our favourite – great fish dishes. Definitely recommend this apartment to any of my friends and family in Melbourne.

 Great location, has everything you need. We loved getting our daily croissants from the gorgeous bakery opposite…so close to the sea, gorgeous restaurants….but nothing beat coming home to such a lovely clean, modern apartment. It’s so nicely decorated…feet up each evening for a well deserved glass of vin after plenty of marching around sight seeing!! Thanks for having us Jade, we’ll send friends….great spot!!!

 The stay was very nice. The apartment is good as in the photo on the web. Best location for the sea and for the city centre. We’re gonna come on the next summer in the same apartment.

The apartment was spacious and clean and close to all the charms of the Old Town – right across from a Fenocchio outpost, a boulangerie, and steps from both the outdoor market, and the beach. Other notable outstanding qualities include: the bed which was very comfortable and the air conditioning that worked very well. Everything we needed was provided including cookware, flatware, drying rack, towels, and even a welcome basket with treats! This apartment made me feel like a local and not a tourist from New Jersey. A hotel could never do that! It is worth noting that yes it is on the 4th floor, which was not a problem for us, but may be for some.  Our stay was very enjoyable and the location is like none other! Our host was friendly, helpful, and explained how everything worked. We felt taken care of and enjoyed our stay very much.
