Panorama – Stunning views of Cloghane Creek House

Posted on: 23/11/2016

This house is simply SPECTACULAR … the views that you have from this house are one of the best I have seen in Ireland. We were 8 people staying over the weekend and we still had a spare room and bathroom that no one used, as this house was so big. The common spaces are really nice, with a spectacular view from the winter garden or living room. Everything was in excellent condition and all things worked perfectly (WiFi, TV, Dishwasher, etc.), and we will most certainly come back to this place. The place itself is on the hillside opposite to Cloghane and its really calm and peaceful. It deserves a 5 stars rating 🙂 Thanks For everything!

Beautiful location with amazing views

Beautiful home on the hillside
Posted on: 04/07/2017

This place is incredible. We were here with our family of 10 (mostly adults), and had an amazing time. The views are so beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Great hikes, walks, drives, and beaches nearby. The house was great and had everything we needed, perched on a beautiful hillside overlooking the town. We loved how secluded we were, we had cars and had a lot of fun exploring the area with the house as our home base. We highly recommend, and wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a most wonderful week

We had a most wonderful week in panorama in Cloghane.
The house was superb, as was the weather. Clodagh and Phil were lovely and very helpful, above and beyond the call of duty! It is a bit isolated but that is part of its charm. I sincerely hope we will be back next year. The house had everything you could ask for, really well appointed and plenty of bedrooms and living area. Cannot praise it enough

Incredible home for a family holiday

Incredible home for a family holiday in the Irish countryside. The perfect location for our family (8 adults and 5 kids). This place is authentic and real — a true gem. Perfect countryside location — just 2 mins to some amazing beaches and hiking trails, 5 mins to Brandon Point, and 20 minutes to Dingle (over one of the coolest mountain passes I’ve ever driven). The place gets 10 stars!

What a spot!

What a spot. The beautiful pictures on the listing really don’t even do it justice, in fact I wish I was sitting in the sun room right now looking out over the sheep, to the water, to the town and on to the mountains. It’s a gorgeous, comfortable, bucolic setting. The bedrooms and baths seemed especially clean and crisp. For anyone wishing to explore the Dingle Peninsula this is the ideal jumping off point.

Fabulous! The house is beautifully maintained and the rooms are nicely decorated. After a long flight and crazy day, it was so nice to get to the house and to be met by Laura. She gave us a basket of fresh local produce which was amazing! Thank you!

The view is spectacular

The view is spectacular; we spent the majority of our time in the sunroom taking it in. It’s private and quiet – perfect for a group that wants a little peace. The neighbors are adorable (they are sheep). The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and clean and the kitchen and living rooms are bright and spacious. Clodagh gave us excellent recommendations in nearby towns, including Dingle, and we enjoyed all of the ones we visited. We would absolutely stay here again

spectacular views

“I don’t think I have stayed anywhere in the world with such spectacular views on all sides – they really have to be seen to be believed. We could see Mount Brandon and the Conor Pass from the house (and the house from the Conor Pass) so could always tell when it was clear of mist/rain for driving over to Dingle. Fermoyle beach is 7 minutes’ drive away, much much preferred over the Maharees for the surf, solitude and beauty by my children and us all. The shop in Clohane a few minutes away has artisan food including fabulous fresh breads, and the village has excellent pubs. Close by, the Loch a’ Dúin walk is a must as it has amazing prehistoric remains including a tomb and stone shaped in honour of Mount Brandon (this stone is visible by binoculars and even the naked eye from the front of the house in fact). Clodagh and Phil were really helpful and welcoming, we were delighted to receive some lovely local cheese and an expensive bottle of wine as well as basic tea, coffee, milk and butter. The beds are particularly comfortable, I suffer with back pain as does another parent in our group and we were both surprised at the quality of the mattresses – an unexpected bonus. Overall we all had a wonderful holiday and on the rainy days the conservatory was a pleasure to sit in and read. When needed, the heating was very effective and the house warmed up quickly. Showers powerful and hot. Would stay here again in a heartbeat as would all my guests.”

The views are amazing

“First of all – the views are amazing! Never had such spectacular views anywhere we stayed so far. The photos don’t do it justice. The house is spacious, the rooms are beautiful and the kitchen is well equipped. You feel welcome here in seconds. There’s lots to do around – the (super long!) beach isn’t far away, so there’s swimming, surfing, any kind of water sports, hiking, exploring the villages around… just to name a few. Mary gave us such a warm and lovely welcome when we arrived (thank you!) and we hope we can stay here again.”

“Overall it’s a really lovely place to stay. The facilities are great and the view is spectacular and the host is very warm welcomed, give us a lot of tips where to go and eat. The shower pressure could be improved. Thanks for the hospitality and we will recommend to anyone who’s interested to stay in a big house in Dingle if you are driving.”
