The Little Sanctuary is nestled in a lush wood at the mouth of Macha na Bo valley, the moment you turn up the little picturesque lane at the bottom of the Conor Pass you will know you are somewhere very special. Like something out of a Tolkien novel, the steep wall of the valley rises dramatically from the crystal waters of the Owenmore river. This one bedroom loft apartment is a lovingly restored farm house full of authentic details and quirky nooks. The main living space is on the first floor, it’s open-plan with a kitchen, lounge, dining table and wood burning stove.
This peaceful retreat is completely private and can be rented together with The Sanctuary to sleep eight.
There is a double bedroom downstairs with fitted wardrobes and a large window overlooking the lush green gardens.
There are two bathrooms with shower, sink and toilet – one downstairs off the hall and one off the main living area upstairs.
The main living area is on the first floor with views across the garden and valley. There are velux windows that give lots of light to this open plan space. With dining table, wood burning stove and fully equipped kitchen.
