Two private terrace spaces one leading off from the master bedroom is a square decking area with pastel hued walls against a lovely original stone wall. The second bedroom there is a small bright space with two wrought iron chairs for unwinding in the evening sun.

This hillside apartment has two separate bedrooms, one a master (160×200) suite and another unusually shaped room with two single bed (90×200) set into an alcove area. The authentic features of rough, stony columns and white washed ceiling beams are complimented by modern artistic touches, a ceiling fan and a radiator . The second bedroom has a wall mounted fan and a radiator it also has a small open terrace area, perfect for relaxing with a glass of local rosé after a day on the nearby beaches.

The crisp, clean lines of this newly refurbished bathroom make for a modern bathroom space. There is a large shower area and a separate toilet leading off the main bathroom. The slate tiles of the walls and floors are brightly lit up by minimalist lighting. There’s no window in the principal space but a small window in the toilet room looks out onto the green foliage.

The living room, dining area and kitchen are all attached in one long room. A timeless Bordeaux leather sofa and white leather armchair occupy one end of the contemporary open plan space as well as a number of Picasso prints, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi box and in built music system. The connecting mezzanine is lined with bookshelves and there is ample space for storage and a safe and there is air conditioning in the main living area.

The kitchen is fresh and cheerful with all the mod cons you’d need for a relaxing stay at Magnolia. Wooden touches contrasted against the stylish kitchen fittings create a familiar cooking space. From a fridge freezer and induction hob, to a blender and multitude of culinary accessories, Magnolia has everything you’d need to cook up a storm. A small breakfast bar is attached to the main cooking space but there is also an extendable table under an art-deco ceiling lamp.

Set in the heart of the picturesque Old Town, Rue de la Préfecture is the central hub of the old town and from here the famous Cours Saleya marketplace, promenade and beach are only 2 minutes walk away. Around the corner the breathtaking Place de Palais is a wonderful square with an ornate fountain set outside the halls of justice surrounded by fantastic Niçoise restaurants and a weekly market selling books and art.

Le système de tramway de Nice s'est récemment développé et il y a maintenant 3 lignes de tramway qui facilitent les déplacements dans la ville et la rencontre avec les nombreux bus. La ligne 3 (environ 4h23 à 0h45) relie l'aéroport au stade Alliance Riviera, au Musée national du sport et au centre commercial St Isidore. La ligne 2 (env. 4h45 à 1h10) relie l'aéroport à de nombreux arrêts le long de la promenade, puis au centre de Nice, à la vieille ville et au port. La ligne 1 (environ 4h25 à 1h25) rejoint la ligne 2 sur la principale avenue commerçante de Jean Médecin, puis se dirige vers le nord jusqu'à la gare de Nice Ville (Gare Thiers) et traverse le quartier du marché de la Libération, ou dans la direction opposée en passant par la vieille ville, la place Garibaldi pour le quartier Bonaparte et ensuite vers le parc des expositions et le principal hôpital, Pasteur. Achetez vos billets aux distributeurs automatiques sur les quais avant d'embarquer : un aller simple coûte 1,50 € (changement de bus/tramway inclus jusqu'à 74 minutes) ou vous pouvez acheter dix billets pour 10 € et d'autres laissez-passer. Tous les billets doivent être estampillés à bord.
