Holiday in Co. Kerry? See it through the eyes of a local photographer

I don’t know about you, but this year has been difficult to say the least. Travel has been almost non-existent and seeing friends and family has been challenging too. But there is still light at the end of the tunnel and one thing that is keeping me going is the thought of having a good ole’ family Christmas. Nothing beats Christmas day with the family. The cringeworthy Christmas decorations, cheesy board games, the ‘filled to the brim’ Christmas dinner plate (pigs in blankets, roasted vegetables, turkey… you name it) and of course the tins of Christmas chocolates which you just can’t put down. We’ve got to power through these next few weeks with more restrictions being brought in to be able to enjoy some kind of ‘new normal’ Christmas. It’s finally something to look forward to after all!

A change of scenery this Christmas is what we all need. A break from reality, a place to enjoy some time off with our loved ones and there is no better place to visit then Co. Kerry, Ireland. The Dingle and Iveragh Peninsulas along the Wild Atlantic Way are among some of the most beautiful places to visit in the world and if you’re worried about finding something to do while here then look no further.

Try something new this festive season

We’ve done the Fungie tours, (we miss you Fungie and we hope you are safe and well, wherever you maybe) we’ve done the Dingle Distillery tours but now is the time to take part and experience something you’ve never done before.

Photography workshop

Dingle dark room offer workshops allow you to take full advantage of the breath-taking scenery this county has to offer and there is no better person to guide you on this tour than through the eyes of a local, who has lived on the Dingle Peninsula for over 25 years. George – a landscape photographer and our resident photographer for all Stay YNA Holiday Homes in Kerry, will give you the utmost intimate knowledge of the Dingle Peninsula through his passion of photography.

The tours are aimed at anyone who loves photography and caters for all levels and abilities – it doesn’t matter if you’re a casual visitor or a serious professional.
