Take an Irish Pilgrim journey

Pilgrim Paths Week is an Eastertime Festival based on Ireland’s network of pilgrim walking routes. This heritage themed event is organised by the local communities adjacent to each pilgrim route and is aimed at raising awareness of Ireland’s rich inheritance of pilgrim paths. A free guided 18km walk of Cosan na Naomh leaves from Ventry beach car park. Isabel Bennet, archaeologist, discusses many of the sites along the pilgrim route, including Gallarus Oratory, the best preserved early Christian church in Ireland.
