Ireland’s longest and oldest street festival which is held on the same dates in August every year, is the highlight of Killorglin’s events calendar and a unique celebration that never fails to disappoint in making headlines and entertaining the huge crowds. The heart of this festival is the ritual crowning of a mountain goat know as ‘King of the Fair’ puck. This family fun festival features traditional horse and cattle fairs, the crowning ceremony, parades, live music, open air concerts, workshops, street performances, pageants and of course a fun fair! This festival still thrives even after 400 years of tradition!
