Social distancing and respecting the local community

Current Government Guidelines

NOW!

Lockdown is still in place. Travel is allowed within a 20km area only and only for essential reasons such as food shopping, medical reasons and assisting someone in a vulnerable position for example that may you to drop off food and medical supplies.

You are allowed outdoors to exercise and meet up with 2 others and social distancing dictates that you keep a minimum of 2 metres distance between you and another person.

JULY 20th

The Irish Government has released a careful staged lockdown release plan. The 20th July is a key date you will be allowed to travel outside of each region within Ireland, meaning holidaying in your own country. More shops may open under strict guidelines.

AUGUST 1OTH

Restaurants and pubs may be allowed to open under guidelines. Until this point keep an eye out on our Shopping section where we will advice what is currently on offer so you can make the best of your holiday.

Respecting the local community

The Kerry community cannot wait to welcome holiday makers back to the Dingle and Iveragh Peninsulas. So many businesses are dependent on your custom and welcome the buzz and liveliness holidaymakers bring. However, everyone is nervous about the Covid 19 pandemic and so much effort has been made to isolate for so long that releasing lock down will naturally bring a fear and nervousness about people arriving from outside the region. So, as much as your business is wanted and appreciated we ask you to read our advice on social distancing in the area. Before you go into a shop or pick up a takeaway check the social distance rules the locals are using. Lets work together to ensure the release of lockdown is treated with caution so holidaymakers and locals can ensure a harmonious summer season!

Stay YNA Health and Safety during COVID-19

24 Hour Changeover

The health and safety of our guests and local hosts is our number one priority. We would like to ensure all our guests that we are preparing your stay with the utmost precaution. For all new bookings taken during the pandemic Stay YNA’s Local Managers will now have 24 hours between check out and the next guests checking in to deep clean your home to our usual high standards. They use protective gloves and masks whilst doing this.

Linen, towels and bedding

Linen and towels are washed by our professional cleaning facility at 90 degrees which kills bacteria. We have advised that bedroom soft furnishings used to decorate the bed such as throws and pillows to be stored away wherever possible as these cannot be washed inbetween each guest. It is your discretion if you wish to use them.

Meet and Greets

Our meet and greets are our pride and joy, but under current conditions we offer a contact free check in service, where the keys can be left in a safe place or lock box and our Local Manager can check you in over the phone and guide you around the property and give advice.

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact the team on [email protected]
