STAY YNA HEALTH AND SAFETY DURING COVID-19

Changeover

The health and safety of our guests and local hosts is our number one priority.We would like to ensure all our guests that we are preparing your stay with the utmost precaution. Our homes are deep cleaned to our usual high standards and Managers use use protective gloves and masks whilst doing this. As an extra precaution we ask you to help fight the potential spread of Covid 19. We will provide linen bags so you can place your used linen in at the end of your stay and we provide cleaning disinfectant for your use and safekeeping throughout your stay with us. Thank you!

Linen, towels and bedding

Linen and towels are washed by our professional cleaning facility at 90 degrees which kills bacteria. We have advised that bedroom soft furnishings used to decorate the bed such as throws and pillows to be stored away wherever possible as these cannot be washed inbetween each guest. It is your discretion if you wish to use them.

Meet and Greets

Our meet and greets are our pride and joy, so we will still be offering this in Nice. The local manager will be wearing the correct PPE for yours and their safety.

Local restrictions and Level 5

Please be aware, due to the current situation it is your responsibility to advise us if you are travelling from an area level 3 or above. We are happy to move your booking to a more suitable date, usually before November 2021, if you are legally required not to travel. Please message [email protected] if you wish to do so.
Unfortunately if this is not reported we are legally required to report this to the local authorities. Thank you in advance.

It has been confirmed that the Republic of Ireland is now in a level 5 lockdown which is set to continue for another 6 weeks until March 5th  2021.

Main points included in the restrictions –

  • Level 5 extended until March 5th
  • Checkpoints 5km from Border
  • Legal requirement to self-isolate after travel abroad
  • Mandatory quarantine for arrivals without negative test
  • South Africa, Brazil travel ban
  • Increased fines

PLEASE NOTE: The reopening of pubs has not gone ahead and only those serving food can continue to trade, a closing time of 11pm will be enforced across the hospitality sector. Masks are also mandatory as of today.

Fishbox Dingle
This isn’t just your average seafood restaurant with a piece of fish and some chips chucked on a plate … there’s a real unique twist on every dish, you can enjoy a range of locally sourced seafood with a mix of other cuisines .. did we mention they serve a ‘to die for’ red Thai monkfish & prawn curry?!? you won’t see that one anywhere else.

Little Italy Restaurant And Pizziera

Straight from Italy all the way to Ireland. This little Italian restaurant sources most of it’s ingredients all the way from the country that invented the treat we all love… Pizza of course! A fabulous new addition to their takeout menu is the Meatball & Chicken Parmigiana Sandwiches… sounds delicious

Another one for the pizza lovers… The fabulous bakery, cafe and restaurant – Emilies in Glenbeigh is still open for business (takeaway only.) Their famous sourdough pizzas are available to order everyday 5-8pm. According to one guest it’s rare to find pizza this good! So why not give yourself a break from cooking? A quirky Tapas Bar and Restaurant in an old Church. The restaurant serves delicious tapas and a fine selection of wines which they import directly from Spain. Sol y Sombra also serves good craft beer and cocktails.

The Little Cheese Shop – 

An array of cheeses to chose from is what makes this cheese shop so impressive. Here, you can find hard cheese, soft cheese, yellow cheese, blue cheese, cheese from goats, cheese from cows, cheese with seaweed (We know! Activities - WATCH THIS SPACE!

We are coordinating with water sport centres, surf schools, horse riding schools and day trip organisers as they are currently adapting the way they operate to accommodate social distancing.

Fungie tours are back – (Social distancing style, of course!) – Come and see the infamous Dolphin we all know and love

From 8th June Dingle Sea Safari are offering their boats for private hire at a reduced price for locals who are within the 20km distance from their homes. This is restricted to people from the same household up to a maximum of 6 people.

The tour is 1.5 hours long and is priced at €250

A trip to the Blasket Islands – 

The Blasket Island is spread over 1,100 acres of land, 4 miles long by 1/2 miles wide. The unspoiled mountainous terrain is home to an abundance of wildlife and Irish heritage. This is a great day trip for kids and adults!

Dingle Golf Club Ceann Sibéal

Ceann Sibéal Golf Club is one of the golf clubs which have recently re opened their doors to members within the 5km perimeter, sadly things aren’t quite back to normal yet, so safety and social distancing measures are in place, read here.

The glorious course is a fair test for all abilities and is situated on the Dingle Peninsula along the breath taking Wild Atlantic Way, with Mount Brandon and the Blasket Islands providing a captivating backdrop at either side.  Experience the beauty of an 18 hole, 6.680-yard course carved from natural landscape.
