An Overview

Since 1906 'Drom Cottage' has been offering families and visitors a peaceful, pastoral haven in the heart of the stunning Drom West area which is situated on the Brandon Bay opposite the village of Cloghane on the North side of the Dingle Peninsula. The property and fields directly around it are sheltered by old leafy mature trees to the rear, which you can particularly enjoy from all the bedrooms. Views on the ground and upper floor also include the owners very content grazing sheep, the mountains of An Com Ban, Glenahoo, Beenoskee and Stradbally plus the valley of Glenahoo in the distance. From the front door if you turn left, within minutes you will arrive at a stunning quiet tidal beach that takes you around the Drom headland into the Brandon bay area. This area has wonderful views to the village and majestic Brandon mountain range. If you turn right from the house you can enjoy the Fuschia lined country lane that will, in 15 minutes (walk) lead you to the award winning Fermoyle beach in one direction and the quaint local village of Cloghane for a very friendly welcome in the bakery/supermarket and O'Connors pub/restaurant in the other direction. For al fresco dining there is a sturdy picnic table seating area alongside the main house. Lieu
