Apartment with large dual aspect East and West facing balconies front and rear. The front balcony opens off the living area and has a small table and chairs for a morning coffee or evening aperitif. You can look out over the tram on the shopping street below and up to the top of Mont Boron to the east. At the back of the apartment is a long balcony with sun loungers to enjoy some more relaxing moments.
All three bedrooms have direct access to the large East balcony and morning sun trap with loungers ideal for breakfast giving relaxing views over the courtyard and Mont Alban.
There is one double bedroom with en suite bathroom, parquet floor, reading lamps and built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom, is a twin bedroom that can be pushed together to make a superking bed if desired, also has parquet floor, reading lamps and a built-in wardrobe for storage. The third bedroom has solid bunk beds with a top safety rail to prevent any bumps in the night!
The chic blue and white tiled en suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower fitting, basin with vanity unit and toilet. There is a second, dazzlingly white bathroom equipped with a shower cubicle, toilet and basin; and a third toilet with basin to keep everyone happy.
Kitchen, living and dining area
The spacious lounge leads directly onto the West balcony ideal for People watching along. The Avenue De La Republic and views to the North of Mont Auron and South of Place Garibaldi. Sleek and contemporary, extremely light and spacious, the convivial living space has a fully equipped kitchen at one end, six seater dining table in the centre and a sofa/TV lounge next to sliding doors which open out onto the front balcony. In the kitchen there is an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and washing machine. For entertainment, or when it is not your turn to cook, sit back and watch the wall-mounted TV, with DVD player, Bluetooth sound bar and wi-fi.
Near the blossoming Garibaldi/Port area of Nice, conveniently situated close to the Acropolis concert/conference/bowling centre and Palais des Expositions, and with a tram stop a few metres away the location is extremely convenient. Avenue de la République is a shopping street with a variety of restaurants, bakeries and cafés to choose from. To the east is a residential area where locals rub shoulders with a few visitors who prefer to avoid the more touristy areas. Nice Port is an easy ten-minute stroll away and the route will take you through the lovely galleried Place Garibaldi with its restaurant terraces, leafy trees and fountain. Alternatively, you could wander through the trendy, some what, bohemian area of rue Bonaparte where you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants, boutiques and places to stop for coffee.
There is a private underground car-park. There are several car parks within easy walking distance of the apartment. Try Parking Barla or Parking Indigo Acropolis. On-street parking is available to the east but it can be difficult to find a spot.

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
