Established in 1889, Waterville golf club is one of the oldest in Ireland and is honoured as one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world, the club still continues to develop and grow in popularity over the 100 years that is has been around. Famous golfing legends such as Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara praise this truly mystical experience. The course is set in the beautiful Village of Waterville, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and combines the beauty of classic links land – a true geographical rarity. No wonder why the golf course is among the top 20 links courses in the world!

The small coastal village of Waterville is located between the Atlantic Ocean and Lough Currane on the scenic and famous Ring of Kerry along the Wild Atlantic Way. It’s a great seaside resort for many, with a long beach right beside the town. Did you know?!? Silent-movie star Charlie Chaplin famously holidayed in this tranquil haven in the 60s with his family, returning every year for more than a decade.

Sadly, this course is not quite yet open, but watch this space here for all the latest updates on when it opens! The course is stretched over 7300 yards with 18 holes so when it reopens you won’t have to worry about social distancing.
