Kitchen and Living area
The open plan kitchen/living area is lit with natural daylight from three tall double windows. Contemporary lighting along with a smart projector TV and black furnishings give this sociable space its style. Chefs, both masters and novices, will be fighting to create in this wonderfully designed, chic and fully equipped island kitchen with breakfast bar, an electric oven and hobs, microwave and all the essential tea and coffee making equipment. There is a long wooden dining table for group meals and a large L-shaped sofa to migrate to once dining is over.

Carioca sleeps seven guests, in two double bedrooms and one triple. With double glazing, AC and heating throughout, all temperatures can be comfortably controlled year-round. There is a TV in each bedroom with French and English cable channels, along with reading tables, bedside lights on the queen-size double beds and storage space cleverly hidden behind curtains. The triple room has a double bunkbed with a single up top, featuring a sturdy slanted ladder and a secure rail.

Both bathrooms are tastefully renovated with marbled tiling and backlit mirrors in an elegant design. You have the option of an Italian shower in one and a relaxing bathtub in the ensuite, with shower fitting too for increased convenience. Both include ample storage for toiletries.

The exclusive neighbourhood of the Carré d’Or boasts some of the finest properties in Nice, including the world renown Hotel Negresco which is right next door. One block from the seafront, you are in easy stepping distance of a beautiful stroll along the Promenade des Anglais and all the magic that the Baie des Anges has to offer, in any season. Restaurants and cafés are in abundance, along with good shopping opportunities on rue de France, both for fun and for provisioning purposes. At the end of the street is the leafy shade of the Villa Masséna Museum gardens and of course beach lovers will be in their element.

The closest tram stop to this apartment is Alsace Lorraine
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
