Light and sunny with a sea view and only 60m to the beach, Californie is a superbly renovated 3-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a classic Niçois building. It is located halfway between the airport and the centre of town so perfect for a beach or city break. The sparkling waters of the Mediterranean will surely lure you away from your morning croissant to wander along the Promenade des Anglais and soak in the Côte d’Azur.

The traditional, wrought iron balcony fits a table and chairs to enjoy the sea view over a leisurely breakfast, lunch or the iconic aperitif! Sunrise or sunset the azure waters will keep you enthralled.
There are two double bedrooms (all mattresses are 140cm x 190cm), one beside the living room with a small window at the top and two at the back of the apartment. The main one has two windows, a built-in mirrored wardrobe, drawer space and bedside reading lamps. The other bedroom also has storage and there is reversible AC and double-glazing throughout.
The bathroom has a shower cubicle, toilet and double basin with large mirror plus ample space for toiletries.
Living and Dining area
With three large French windows the open plan living space is designed to optimise light in the south-facing corner. Light wood flooring and worktops, and a splash of blue bring this room to life with a corner for relaxing on the L-shaped sofa, access to the balcony, and a round glass dining table. There is a TV with English news channels and wifi to stay connected.
A breakfast bar separates the kitchen area while still allowing the chef to enjoy the sea view! The kitchen area includes an electric oven and four hobs, microwave and filter coffee machine with a washing machine and dish washer for convenience. An iron and clothes horse are also provided.
The new tram line connecting the airport to the centre of town runs parallel to the seafront and has brought new life and greenery to this area of Nice. Always popular with locals, here you will find everything you need from bakeries, supermarkets to pharmacies and with new cafés and delights blossoming along Avenue de la Californie you are sure to soon feel at home in this quartier.

The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
