The open plan main living area is light airy and spacious. The beige two seater sofa bed makes a comfortable retreat after a hard days sight seeing. There is a flat screen TV with English speaking news channels and a DVD player and complimentary Wifi. The lounge area also has air con which is a real blessing in the hot summer months.
Kitchen
The modern cream kitchen area has a large fridge-freezer, washing machine with dryer, and a four ring hob with oven. It is fully equipped with a kettle, cafetière and a large selection of cooking equipment and dishwasher.
Dining area
There is a round wooden dining table with seating for four people.
Bedroom
The bedroom has a king size bed (200×180) and two stylish white bedside tables. There is a free standing wardrobe for storage and a pair of French windows lead out onto a small balcony. The bedroom also benefits from Air Con.

Location
Carré D’or is a vibrant area of Nice which is in part pedestrianised. Close to the central city and the numerous shops on avenue Jean Medecin but only a short walk to the beach, Marechal Joffre is a highly sought after street containing many boutiques and designer shops. There are many exclusive restaurants, brasseries and cafes in the Carre D’or area making this one of the most popular quartiers amongst YNA guests. The maze of narrow streets know as the Old Town which contains many restaurants bars and shops is only a 5 minute walk away.

Parking
Free parking in Nice can be difficult to find. There is a pay as you go car park at Palais Masséna at 29 Promenade des Anglais or Palais de la Méditerranée on Rue du Congres. Go to en.nicetourisme.com/getting-around-nice for more information.

Closest tram stop to this apartment is Jean Médecin
The tram system in Nice has recently developed and there are now 3 tram lines facilitating travel across the city and meeting up with the many buses. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.50 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes. All tickets must be stamped onboard.
