Rue Bonaparte, the centre of all things hip is just around the corner, offering restaurants, vintage shops, fresh produce and lively bars. It’s a 400m stroll to the quayside to see the small fishing boats, yachts and ferries setting sail to Corsica. The Port neighbourhood is great for antiques browsing with a flea market, galleries, a modern art museum and antique shops. For more sporty types the Club Nautique offers sailing lessons and rents equipment and there are great spots for snorkelling along the rocky coastline of Coco Beach. The park opposite is fantastic for kids or if you want a leafy place to relax. With all the sports, beaches, shops, museums and restaurants on your doorstep you will be spoilt for choice. Line 3 (approx. 4:23am to 0:45am) connects the airport to the Alliance Riviera stadium, National Museum of Sport and St Isidore shopping centre. Line 2 (approx. 4:45 am to 1:10 am) connects the airport to many stops along the promenade and then onto the centre of Nice, the Old Town and the port. Line 1 (approx. 4:25 am to 1:25 am) meets line 2 on the main shopping avenue of Jean Médecin and then goes north to Nice Ville train station (Gare Thiers) and on through the market neighbourhood of Liberation, or in the opposite direction passing the Old Town, Place Garibaldi for the Bonaparte neighbourhood and onwards to the exhibition centre and the main hospital, Pasteur. Buy your tickets from machines on platforms before boarding: a one-way ticket costs €1.70 (bus/tram changes included up to 74 mins) or you can buy ten tickets for €10 and other passes.
